Lo Hong Ka's Pearl Anew

PEARL cultivation originated from China. The earliest records dated back to the third Qiandao year of the Sung Dynasty (AD 1167) where the “Wenchang Miscellaneous Records” clearly stated that “ when the fresh water clams open up, insert pearl-shaped objects into the shell and the pearl will grow from it after two years”.
